Heh, around the 8 minute mark, when talking about JJ, Red listed just about every single thing one can do on the court, but left out any mention of shooting 3’s. I hope that was intentional and JJ is getting that message to let other guys shoot it from outside instead!

I wouldn’t necessarily read too much into un-prepared statements. JJ is Red’s guy. Red is friends with the family. There obvious loyalty there, to the point that it probably hurts Red’s decision making.

He’s just trying to let everyone play. I don’t think there’s any rhyme or reason for what he does.

RE: players not doing what the coaches told them to do

This is Red's third completely refreshed roster in as many years and he's said this sort of thing with every one of them. If every team isn't doing what he's asking them to do, at what point do you blame the coaching for failing to properly convey what they want done?

Maybe it's not the players, it's you, Red.
