Red's Media Day Press Conference

I like the ingredients this season. My main concern is the chef. Always tinkering with the recipe last year. To be fair there wasn’t much to work with last season.
The one thing I like about the chef is that he does not seem to throw people under the bus. He knew what he was dealt. I also think he is not very adept at interviewing with the media which portrays potentially a couple of things to people who look for weakness. I personally love it, God forgive me when piranha type individuals seek out weak points in individuals that are not character related because I know they will eventually be humbled. Maybe just something I need to get better at, one of those pray for your enemy type things, Pray for the worldling because they are much sicker than you ever dreamed of being. Things such as that. Red possesses qualities I seemingly lack. I guess I have a lot of work to do that is for sure. I know this the misinformed piranha types I hope we'll be humbled this year. But they will always complain. Coach Autry gets attacked exponentially more than the previous coach who obviously was tremendous until the last five years of his tenure. The vitriol towards him is however nonexistent in comparison to Coach Red, what he inherited, then what he was given to recruit with... Coach Fran Brown will also have the same types coming after him after they praised him 30 days before screaming You better lock him up. Almost like a metaphor, maybe allegorical as well. I admire coach Red Autry for many things, I hope he succeeds in basketball for many reasons that go beyond basketball. No matter what he will succeed if he stays true to himself and grows with inevitable outside noise that means literally zero, and strangles the life typically from where it came from without even knowing it. This wasn't directly meant for you, There are a lot of other commentators discussing the Chef much greater than you. I appreciate inspired writing from the heart, blessing

I really tried understanding your post. I think Red is a good guy like you. I'm in hopes that the new talent will be inspired to play for him. I'm not sure who or what the misinformed piranha types are.

He’s an easy target unfortunately.

Personality and dealing with media and the million other things off the court know one cares about when you’re winning and in fact most people would prob praise him for how he is. When you’re losing though all the sudden the same things are like you said are all terrible weaknesses.

I also appreciate the fact that not once did he get out there and say damn this is gonna be a nitemare cuz

-I ended up with a 5’10 PG that should’ve stayed in the mid majors as if he could afford something better which he couldn’t.
-Chris Bell took the season off
-JJ broke his hand and missed a month
-Donnie went down less than half way through the season

There’s no spinning the slow start to the season and some of his on court decisions but He had to know early on the mess he was in. Dude was the best PG in the league in his time so he had to know. He could’ve easily said what we all knew above and could still say it now but he won’t.
