He is. He seemed pretty honest though too. His comment about other guys getting longer looks with keeping Judah out seemed sincere.

Red was spot on about his defense and keeping people in front and locating shooters. Locating shooters was a problem last year too. Starling has Westbrook type speed pushing the ball and Red recognizes what a force JJ can be. With JJ and Mintz running the floor our spot up shooters can be dangerous. Cuffe is going to be a secret weapon for this team. He’s a complete player coming off the bench. When have we had guys like Brown, Cuffe, Copeland and Taylor coming off the bench? We haven’t even seen Westry yet. I think we will see Taylor play some four this year. He might have the strongest body on the team. He can be a guy like Hinson from Pitt that causes matchup problems. His defense is good. He will need to be able to battle and rebound in the post. I think Red gets it and has a good feel for the game. You can tell his players like this style. It’s already evident what kind of players he wants to recruit. They need to be able to handle, shoot and pass. He’s going to look for that “dog like” mentality in players.
