Syracuse coach Adrian Autry wasn't happy with his team's defensive effort after building big lead against Albany.

“I thought the second half was good up until the last probably eight, nine, seven or eight minutes,’’ Autry said. “We stopped playing. Got a lead (and) stopped playing.’’

Autry thought part of the problem was his attempt to get some reserves into the game.

Without naming names, Autry said those players were not ready.

Cuffe came in the second half and immediately screwed up on both ends of the court. In the first half all he had to do was catch and shoot open threes and he drove to the hoop. When you put him in situations where he has to handle the ball and make decisions, he’s a human turnover.

I agree. It seems I am in the minority but put me in the camp that he should only play in emergency. Gave us a spark in the first half last night but reverted to the norm in the second half.

Cuffe just doesn’t seem to have a feel for situations. Plus on a team with some bad defenders he fits right in.

When they went to zone, Lampkin should have been on the bench. You might as well put Santa Claus in the middle as he would move better than Lampkin.

Think Red did a dis service to him when he took him out when he was on a roll.. You don't do that to someone just to get "your guy" back in the game and especially when the team went on a run.

That’s what I didn’t follow about the comment. The starters were in playing horribly. I swear Eddie just likes to throw behind the back passes and not much else
