I'm not shocked...Duke has a tendency to pull games out of their posterior. I guess Gottfried forgot how to coach between 2004 and now...jagoff.

NC State lost the minute Howell/Leslie picked up their 4th. After that, Curry and Rivers were able to drive to the basket with no help defense. Once the State defenders started sagging off to play for the drive, they got open looks from the perimeter and made them. It was the foul situation that changed the way NCSU was playing and turned the game around.

No kidding. I just loved it when God Shammgod made Wojo and the other Duke guards look stupid in that NCAA Tourney game.

If Duke can make shots, specifically three point shots then they have a chance. They are not defending on the perimeter and giving up 46 points to NC State in a half is an embarrassment.

Giving up 35 to ND is also a disgrace. Although we didn't have a center we liked at the time.

Haha -- I've been blasted on this board for it quite a few times. Some of their old teams, I really couldn't stand, but the last couple years I have felt surprisingly indifferent.

I'm pretty sure I only have the energy to hate one out of conference team a year and Kentucky has stepped up in such a big way!

He could have used stall ball. Should have started that when he was still up ten and limited Duke's possessions. I don't understand why teams continue to run at Duke when they are scorching hot.

Say what you want about Julius Hodge, but that team desperately could have used him last night. He was mentally tough and would never have looked visibly defeated when the game was still very much in doubt.
