Pretty sure that Rutgers is gonna want to make that threatened Murdock lawsuit go away as well. Even if they WERE on strong legal ground over the firing, which I question, Rice's behavior was far worse than any alleged insubordination on the part of Murdock...and they didn't fire him until it was no longer possible to keep from firing him.

I remember Seton hall was considering Rice to replace Gonzo, but after the Gonzo debacle didn't want to touch him, leaving him for Rutgers.

Pernetti should have been fired first today,then Rice who all ready paid a little for his actions.

I find it very hard to believe Pernetti didn't see any of this in person before he was given the tapes in november.

I keep thinking about the university president. According to Pernetti, the prez saw the tapes in November. The prez is using 'weasel words' on this issue. But the very idea that they'd hire some bleeping consultants to figure out the proper course is nuts.

If you're the president, you fire the guy. You don't need any consultants to do what's right. or you face the consequences.
