From what I can piece together it looks like Richt was told to clean house, he said I’m not doing that...I’m out.

Richt did not demand a severance - highly unusual. He either flat out walked or perhaps said if you get Diaz back I’ll walk, hire anyone else and you’ll have to fire me and I’m taking a bag of cash with me.
