OL was horrible. The first two drives honestly weren't bad. Rickie wasn't great but it's not his fault that Cook fumbled twice (technically once). Running the ball twice and then letting him try to throw or rush for a first down is not the type of offense I was expecting today.

Collins was awful today and was against a terrible defense. I know he will get another game but that was terrible quarterback play today. He is lucky to only have 1 INT should have had at least 3-4 maybe more.

We had receivers open all day but Collins just blocked on and never looks around. Game is too fast for him

I also feel, Duke is a ridiculously dirty team. They literally hunt at shoulder / head level literally on every tackle.

they eliminate the crown of the helmet/ launching contact (makes sense for both players ) and now you want to take away shoulder tackling ? how bout we give them all velcro flags to pull off. if a dude is changing angles and going to the ground there is going to be some helmet contact at some point. do you honestly believe any contact to the helmet is automatic targeting ?

Difference we don't have an NFL QB to fall back on. We will actually see what kind of coaching chops he has now because McCord isn't here as a safety net to save anything. He better be all over his BFF because that side of ball will have to carry us to a bowl if Rickie is the starter going forward

He definitely got lucky. He easily could have had 4-5 INT's.

Defense is always awful that is no different. We get a couple games in Fran's career where the defense has played good other than that is has been straight trash. The offense hard carries the team when the offense fails because of the QB we don't have an answer.

While I agree with this sentiment, it’s a different season. Instead of a NFL QB under center we got Collins. The team has to rally but would that be enough to fix an offense that could not score a touchdown and had 3 turnovers
