RIP Chester Bennington - Linkin Park singer

Well, crap. There are a couple of LP records that I really love. "A Thousand Suns" is a tremendous, and under-rated, album. :(

When you were standing in the wake of devastation
When you were waiting on the edge of the unknown
And with the cataclysm raining down
Insides crying, "Save me now!"
You were there, impossibly alone

Do you feel cold and lost in desperation?
You build up hope, but failure’s all you’ve known
Remember all the sadness and frustration
And let it go. Let it go

And in a burst of light that blinded every angel
As if the sky had blown the heavens into stars
You felt the gravity of tempered grace
Falling into empty space
No one there to catch you in their arms

Do you feel cold and lost in desperation?
You build up hope, but failure’s all you’ve known
Remember all the sadness and frustration
And let it go. Let it go

Do you feel cold and lost in desperation?
You build up hope, but failure’s all you’ve known
Remember all the sadness and frustration
And let it go. Let it go

Let it go
Let it go
Let it go
Let it go

Do you feel cold and lost in desperation?
You build up hope, but failure’s all you’ve known
Remember all the sadness and frustration
And let it go. Let it go

When hybrid theory came out I was in 7th/8th grade and I used to lay on my bed and play twisted metal 2 (PlayStation 1) and I could play that cd on repeat. Great cd.

Some very good songs. A lot of impact.

Very eerie similarities to Ian Curtis of Joy Division. Commits suicide just before big US tour to promote new album.

He and Chris Cornell were very close. Wonder how much Cornell's death factored into Bennington's state of mind?

He did it on Cornell's birthday, so I'd say it was a big factor.
