Growing up, VTTBOTS was one of my favorite shows (Star Trek and short-lived The Time Tunnel - obviously, I loved the science-related shows) were the others.

Later in his career, he made a good living doing guest shots on prime time staples such as Fantasy Island, The Love Boat, etc.
