RIP Jerry Van Dyke

This one makes me sad. Always liked Jerry. He was great as Luther among other roles.

I always thought he looked like the older Van Dyke brother. But he was 6 years younger than Dick.

He really was brilliant on Coach.

Luther made the show. I remember enjoying that show when it was on but didn’t see them all, so I just started re watching a few weeks ago. Now that I’m older and wiser I can say it would have never lasted without Luth.

I've been watching it occasionally also since it started airing on Antenna TV on New Year's Day. Luther absolutely made the show. The other characters were really good but Luther came on and you knew something funny would happen.

He was great in a classic episode of The Dick Van Duke Show, playing Rob's brother. RIP, Jerry.
