MTV or someone did a special on Meatloaf, which of course had lots of Steinman stuff.
I believe that he, Tony Kornheiser and Donna Karen were HS classmates.

Being very up on Meat and Steinman, I did not know about the Bonnie Tyler tune being his. In more recent years, I heard it at work, and thought “this song is so meatloaf”. Looked it up, and duh, no kidding look at that. It all made sense. Guy was brilliant.
