He was a solid, egoless host for the ego-ridden "Sportswriter's" show. I took issue with his alibiing for the BCS but that's the only thing I took issue with and it doesn't matter now. He'll be missed.

I wonder if Jeremy Schapp, son of the original host, will take over? He filled that chair a few times before.
