That would be nice. I like the idea of naming the shows after him because he was such an institution during both basketball and football seasons through all coaching regimes and naming after him preserves the memory of him.

Just seeing this…RIP. Loved his posts looking into past eras, reading about players I never have heard of due to when I grew up. Terrible news. Cancer sucks.

I think the SWC75 Welcome tent at tailgates would be perfect and raise awareness for a good cause. Shyness is not a disease.

If we had a Syracusefan Hall of Fame, Steve would be in the top echelon. RIP, Steve

temery if there isn’t already something set up, then each of the boards should have some sort of remembrance location for the former significant members that have departed.

Axe did a 10 minute tribute to Steve on a recent podcast. It was very nicely done. He opened the pod talking about Steve, then mentioned him again at the end.

I’ve known of about ten people who have died in the past few months. Some old, some young, all too soon

Steve will be sorely missed.

My dad passed a month before the last hoops probation. Last full season he saw was ennis and 25-0. I guess he got out at the right time.
