This hurts so much. A stage IV female cancer was always going to be very hard. With over 50 years of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology plus a career as an executive in the Biotech/ Life Sciences industry plus having lost my wife of 40 years ( SU MS) to a female cancer plus my Mom ( huge SU fan) to a female cancer, I kind of know what I’m talking about. Not always in my posts about sports, but definitely in this case.
As she said earlier :“living with a disease is different than letting a disease control the way you live.”
Amen. She seems to have done that.
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have. She has done that as well. I learned that lesson long ago.
