RIP Tiana Mangakahia

SadFace.jpeg

Probably my favorite SU female hoops player.
Again, glad to have seen her play.

Impressed with how she dealt with her situation at the time, as well as how she continued to be involved with the game going forward.

Very sad to hear the news.
I will toast her with a tear when I get home.

Very, Very Sad News!!!! She was the most exciting player I ever saw in person in Women's College Basketball. She had a flair and an ability to pass the ball that made you move to the edge of your seat, every time she had the ball in her hands. She could also score! A life cut short...way too soon. Cancer is an awful disease and I pray that we find a cure in my lifetime. May your life and memory, inspire others to go beyond their wildest dreams.

I remember sitting with her parents in Las Vegas when she was first playing for us. I can't imagine how they will deal with this. What they need to do is hang her jersey from the rafters. Her family would come in for that. On pink day would be a good game to do that.
