Gabby received a call this morning from Cedric with the news. Cedric was one of their coaches. I know Cedric well.

the family may not have wanted it out yet. There is a reason cuse women bball or Syracuse.com hasn’t posted anything in hours after that FB post.

I only caution this because I gave Chris Carlson some news once and he was able to verify and post publicly within like 30 minutes. I get that Australia may throw a curveball in there but the cuse bball team would have posted by now unless there was a reason not to.

I did see Katie Kolinski post something though so unfortunately I believe it’s true now. Very sad day if it’s true.

This came directly from her former SU teammates and one of the coaches of the SU team from when she was here. Katie got it from the same source. I am pretty sure we were the first to know. I am def not disagreeing with you anymore. But I can promise you syracuse.com, all of women’s bball, and cuse bball has been trying to verify and have been unable for 8+ hours now.

I am without words, this is just so, so sad. She was so young, my heart is broken for her family. I'm so glad I have my season tickets and got to see her play. The Miami game in the ACC tournament in 2019 was the best, she put the team on her shoulders that day when everyone predicted Syracuse to lose, and I was there to see it.
