  • (28-4) St. Mary's to beat (23-9) BYU
  • (28-4) Gonzaga to beat (18-14) San Francisco
  • (19-13) Oakland to beat (11-22) Cleveland St. (SOS/RPI Booster)
  • (19-13) Iona to beat (17-15) Fairfield (SOS/RPI Booster)
Tuesday 3/6
  • If Pitt can somehow beat (18-13) Notre Dame
  • (29-4) Gonzaga to beat (24-9) BYU
Wednesday 3/7
  • (18-12) Oklahoma to beat (18-13) Oklahoma State
  • (11-19) DePaul to beat (18-12) Marquette
  • (20-10) Florida State to beat (19-12) Louisville

I root for Syracuse to win. That's it.
 
I usually do a version of this, but I am way too busy at work.

A few comments:
LSU and Miss St is a toss up.
We want TCU to beat Kansas St, but I would be surprised if Kansas St was left out.
Add the Notre Dame, UCLA, USC, Arizona St, Washington games
We want Rhode Island / St. Bonaventure to win at this point, to avoid a 3rd A-10 team in the tourney.

Add the bubble busters when they play:
#1. We want St. Mary's / Gonzaga to win the WCC
#2. We want Middle Tennessee to win the CUSA
#3. We want Nevada to win the MWC
#4. We want Rhode Island / St Bonaventure when they play. One of them needs to win the A-10.

St. Bonaventure is 21st in RPI. We are #40. Why do we want them to lose? it would make us look worse.

For today it would also be of interest, in terms of computer numbers and record against teams that make the tournament for the following results:

Oakland over Cleveland State (Horizon Semi) 7pm

Iona over Fairfield ( MAAC Final) 7pm
 
If St. Mary’s loses tonight is there a chance they get left out? I understand we don’t want bid stealers but the best case scenario would probably be St. Mary’s losing to BYU and Gonzaga winning the WCC.

I think you are exactly correct. Just can't have BYU beat the Zags.
 
Welp, Oakland was TERRIBLE in the second half and loses to 11 win Cleveland State. Would have been nice to have another team we beat with a chance for an auto-bid, but not to be. Iona up 7 with under a minute though.

Our tourney hopes aren't going to hinge on what Oakland does.

I don't really get this. St. Mary's isn't close to the bubble (right?) so why even give a potential auto-bid stealer a chance? Nothing is a lock in this game.

Agree 100%. Insane to have rooted for BYU last night. St Mary didn’t lose to San Diego they lost to a solid BYU team and either way they are in. Gonzaga needs to win tonight or the BYU rooters from last night will regret it as will the rest of us
