Rumor

Right around July 1, an SU Athletics spokesperson told me that the three collectives remain in operation, even though John had made that prior statement about streamlining things. I know that Orange United, for one, has had discussions with Wildhack about its future. These third-party collectives would not be run by the university, and Wildhack has stressed the importance of them to supplement in-house revenue-sharing.
spot on.

Wouldn't someone who owns multiple businesses and who's network involves so many more businesses be a great person to have involved with Syracuse NIL, in the era where NIL deals are vetted?

I don’t see what one has to do with the other. But college sports said bye bye to integrity a long long time ago.
How Dare You! UNC is very much has the best Entrigety. Those fake classes and degrees led to many a smart graduate whether athlete or non-athlete. Now with Belichick and his 22 year old GF as GM they are going to be even more Integritied.

I'll never forget how naive I felt with the whole UNC thing went down. Roy was so arrogant. I can't believe they just let them go on that.

Absolutely! That someone should talk to one of our collectives. That’s how all the other big fish at SU donate.

We all just want SU to have the resources it needs.

I just saw your guy at Summer Slam. He runs in very interesting circles.
He's there tonight, too.

I think some of you that laugh at my posts about Adam will soon have to either man up or disappear. No inside info here, just a feeling.

I'm not saying it is going to work out, but he gave $250k to Le Freaking Moyne, how much do you think he'd give to Syracuse, a program he actually cares about?
I don't know, how much is he donated to date? And I'm talking about actual contributions to nil, not his luxury box.

Tired of people conflating the two.. The fantasy is far greater than the actuality, at least to date.

Again, not saying it is a done deal, but the future may be altogether different.

Laugh all you want, I don't really care. But, if a resolution can be achieved between Adam and the university, we all benefit.
What kind of "resolution" is needed between AW and SU? Isn't he free to donate NIL money to Collectives now? Or by resolution it means that the Chancellor shakes hands with him & has a photo taken of it? Or is it giving him his bench side seats & luxury box back? I don't get what "resolution" is needed for AW to give substantial NIL through a Collective. Or is it he wants to give to athletes directly? I suppose he could if it meets the rules of the CSC & is approved by them.

Adam has made it clear, he wants to go after the big dog in each class. So, a resolution is in order to establish a working relationship, that allows both parties to be satisfied with the outcome. Anyway, I have no clue if it will come to pass, but if it does, it will benefit both SU and Adam.

Ok, thanks. So I guess if it does, any agreement would I think necessarily include meeting the CSC NIL rules (e.g., valid business purpose). If it does, I'd think the Chancellor wouldn't (or shouldn't) have any objections to it.

Lol you're still carrying his water. The commitment to the bit is impressive.

Shouldn’t he become a basketball coach then? It’s a bit weird to think of one donor thinking they’re going to personally recruit and pay a player. Does any other school have something like this?
