but theres two sides to things...players have so much power now. any malcontents can cause serious issues within a team/lockerroom

we've seen the defensive intensity absolutely nose dive the last 10 games or so...

id say the 2 guys red has benched are 2 of the guys who literally just play the way they want regardless...yeah theyre competing and trying to win...but the defensive side of their games has been weak

idk ...what can a coach even do if hes lost the players?

i suppose his last resort is benching the ringleaders...? (just guessing)

What is this garbage? Sadiq is one of the few that gives full effort all the time, especially on defense. He was also the biggest cheerleader on the bench today even when he wasn’t playing. The players can’t be malcontents every year. The only thing that’s consistent is the HC.

I'm convinced we have some fans that want our players to be dirtbags, and will make up that they are even though there's no evidence of that.

Yeah, that would be a lot worse for sure... And I'm not prepared for that, honestly.

I voiced here many times my concern when Freeman came back from injury that Sadiq might not be utilized well after being a significant contributor (starting and getting 21-22 minutes a game). He hasn't been at all which has clearly affected his ability to impact the game.

I think you could make a case for Betsey as well. He was essentially splitting minutes with Sadiq and was getting 20-21 minutes a game. Since Freeman came back, there doesn't seem much of a plan for how we're utilizing him either. Sad thing is that I really like both of these guys and we could very likely lose them because of this dysfunction.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not blaming Donnie for how things transpired. I'm looking at Red on this.
