Reading the DO piece on the receivers, they kind of lost me when they referred to Naasib as possibly the best QB in SUs history. I mean, I'm a Nassib fan, but McNabb was clearly better. McPherson was pretty good too. But no way RN is better than McNabb.

Reading the DO piece on the receivers, they kind of lost me when they referred to Naasib as possibly the best QB in SUs history. I mean, I'm a Nassib fan, but McNabb was clearly better. McPherson was pretty good too. But no way RN is better than McNabb.

Had to look it up.
Statistically, Nassib had better passing stats, especially during his senior year.
Nassib had more yards, more attempts, more completions, more TDs.

McNabb was clearly a much, much better rusher.
He was also the Big East offensive player of the decade, first-team all conference all four years, Big East Offensive Player of the Year three times. And the leader of much more successful teams.

I don't know how old the writer is but he sounds like somebody who was wearing diapers while Donovan was playing QB.

Right. If he had said, "0ne of the best QBs to ever play at SU..." I agree completely. But not "possibly the best..."
