Scott Shafer for head coach?

my only issue with SS is continually playing Anderson

Except for the call of 2 pass plays starting from 1st and 2 from the 2 I had little problem with the coaching. The coaches kept coaching the team into winning drives. Play calling was fine. Players 'ed it up. At some point, players have to be accountable for fumbles. Protect the ball.

We need an OC with some experience and imagination. We need a special teams coach. if we go for a new head coach it should be someone who has been a head coach and has proven he can win.

Fair enough. I just see the defense as the only reason we've won any games since marrone got here.

No idea what Shafer would look like as HC but he's the best coach we've currently got and can;t imagine stoic demeanor would ever be an issue.

if this is the current thinking, we might as well blindfold the program, walk it outside, put it up against the wall and stick a cig in its mouth, and then shoot it. over and over again.

We are going to the ACC and you want to give more guys career breaks?

Agreed, although Anderson actually did a surprisingly nice job today on Harrison.

We don't need another head coach that's never been a head coach.

Yeah man, Dana Holgorsen is really doing a TERRIBLE job with West Virginia.

We don't need an NFL Head Coach. Some NCAA coordinators are amazing candidates for head coach.
