Riley has a chance. I say that as someone who wasn’t a huge fan of his but if he limits blunders really think he can stick. All the best !

The Pats love guys like Riley. He's an absolute long shot, but he's not a no shot.

Edelman is 34.
Harry will improve in his second year.
Sanu will be solid.
Jacobi Myers was an UDFA would made the team.
After them the roster is wide open at the position.
Gunner Olszekwski was a one trick pony who made the team to catch punts.
He was worthless other than that and hopefully is replaced.
Damari Byrd and Marqise Lee were FA signings.

Sean Riley can beat out Gunner and at the very least could be a PS guy who can develop if he shows speed. The Patriots are the slowest team in the NFL.

Brady had no interest to work with young players the last 3 years.

He hasn’t gone to offseason workouts in 3 years.
He was an ahole to Jacobi Myers and Nkeal Harry last year.

Brady only liked working with veterans the last 5 years.
Riley has a chance because the team needs speed.

Brady makes guys like Edelman/Amendola/Welker/Branch better because they run option routes where Brady knows where they will be and throws to those spots.

Sanu and Edelman will be good next year.
Nkeal Harry and Myers are going from year 1 to year 2 they will be better.

The 5-foot-8, 178-pounder finished third on the Syracuse all-time list with 4,358 all-purpose yards and set the school record for most kickoff return yards (2,433).

Teams can go to training camp with 80 or 90 players.
If you have 80 you can have the whole group together during practice.
If you have 81-90 you have to divide the players into groups and practice in smaller groups.

Belichick is electing to cut 10 players now so when training camp opens he will have 80 and keep them all together during practice.
