Sean Tucker: Buccaneers

Good company. Marvin and Monk not being on that list is a bit of surprise.

BTW, good list of HoF guys.
Marvin yes, monk played with Clark and Sanders, and alot of his teams were run heavy.

The really bad call by Bowles was when he had a third and two around mid-field down 5. He should have planned two runs, instead there was an incomplete pass and a punt. At that point the Tampa D was toast. Had to keep the ball and score.

Of course, none of that detracts from Sean's amazing game, especially the sideline tiptoe on the long TD run.
That's the one I'm thinking of

It’s been a while, but reading some recent posts, it’s clear that I have to remind people of:

BOARD RULE #2

- Leave the talent evaluating to the talent evaluators.

Tucker matched, maybe even exceeded, his talent ceiling. I applaud him for being a NFL player for a year. A depth chart RB who offers nothing on Specials, rarely sticks.

Good for him.

He has a memory of a lifetime!!
I enjoy going back to find this post. I guess he's still making memories.

He’s a free agent after this year. He’s gonna get paid and will likely be some team’s lead back next year.
Restricted free agent though, so probably one more year in Tampa (hopefully as RB2, Rachaad White is an actual free agent) and then he’ll have a chance to possibly go lead a backfield somewhere in 2027.

I suppose that would depend on how much another team likes him, would they be willing to give up enough that Tampa would let him go.

It's funny -- I've been paying attention to Derrick Henry this year due to fantasy football, and his performance is similar to Willis. The Baltimore OL doesn't do Henry any favors, but for such a big guy, it seems like half of his rushes he gets hit at or behind the LOS, and just gets dropped. Strange.

Happens to Willis a lot too.
Baltimore's guards are god awful this year, with Henry if you can get him in the backfield before he gets a few steps he is "farily" easy to bring down BUT once he gets a few steps it's a nightmare. The Browns abused the Ravens OL last week and for some reason it took them till the 3rd quarter to double team Garrett, one play they didn't even block him...was have flashbacks of our terribl OLine when watching the game

Buccaneers RB Bucky Irving (foot/shoulder) was participating in Wednesday’s practice.
Tampa Bay Times’ Rick Stroud reported seeing Irving on the field for the walk-through portion of Wednesday’s practice. The 23-year-old is slowly returning from foot and shoulder injuries, getting in limited practices last week. He is ramping back up to full game speed and it is a good sign for his Week 12 availability that he was at practice to open the week.

Exceded. Sure. Remember board rule #2.

3 years in the league as a UDFA. That’s the definition of exceeded.

What’s your point here? I have no idea??

For reference, here’s his career stats: 608 yds on the ground and 152 in the air.

What do you make of that? Why are you insulting the poor kid??

He’s done well for himself, he’s clearly not a starter or that would’ve happened by now. Are you really trying to say he iis a starter or is killing it stat wise and that I was wrong in stating hes done well at level of success he has proven to have had and be?

It’s not that simple. He has only been on one team. He may be able to start if he was on another team.

Everyone knows the heart condition that was reported prior to the draft is what caused him to go undrafted.

I have insulted Tucker? Stop making things up. Anyone on this board that has read my posts knows the truth.

I'm sorry if you have trouble understanding my posts. Most people on here don't seem to have the same difficulty.

Part of me wonders if it is to avoid taking unnecessary hits. A big guy like Henry [or Willis] should be able to pound through contact, and squeak out some extra forward yardage. But that takes a toll -- so if the play isn't there, just go down.
Sorry for the late reply. Somehow I missed your reply to me.

I think it's simply that even big guys need to generate momentum, and, as big as they are, d lineman are bigger. The big RBs really get the advantage when the oline gets them to that next level where they have built momentum and are running into smaller people.

So your whole premise of dragging me and an old, correct post of mine out of the depths of history, was to what??? To try and point out that in your make believe world of football excellence, you also have found a way disparage a random….and again, a reality correct post of mine…in some feeble attempt to make yourself and this band of merry men who understand all your posts, feel good?

Do yourself a favor, leave me out of this.

You’ve embarrassed yourself on a Great American Holiday Weeekend.

Enjoy everyone.

Correct post of yours. Got it.

I feel so embarrassed.
