Second to Football, Nothing says "Rivalry" Like...

I really kind of expected this thread to turn into a southern rock vs northern blues/rock thread. You know..."the South's Gonna do it again" vs "sweet home Chicago". Something like that. If the south can claim everything from the Carolina's to Texas, I figure the north can claim Boston to Chicago.

Still I like all of the suggestions here. But we need more Clemson fans to jump in.

Not from the South but I really like Southbound, a relatively new (2010) song by Kings of Leon, the latest great Southern band.

It was written when they were stuck up north recording an album and were feeling really homesick.

Eye of the Tiger

It's the eye of the tiger
It's the thrill of the fight
Risin' up to the challenge
Of our rival
And the last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all with the
Eye of the tiger

Why we don't blast this song at the start of every home game I have no earthly idea...

I got so much trouble on my mind
Refuse to lose
Here's your ticket
Hear the drummer get wicked

How about Southern man by Neil Young. That would make feel nice and comfortable.

And you think the premium seats are empty now?
