I so am gonna say I am sorry for calling u out first game but I’m glad I did cause u all looked like a gelled secondary after that game. No one beat deep. Coverage was spot on and it seemed like we knew what was coming. Great plays by Fredericks, Cisco, and Cordy that I saw but when u don’t notice the secondary it means they are doing there job. Great job coaching and great job players. I feel we have the guys we need to make this season about as fun as u can. Played with a chip on their shoulder and if the pass rush continues then makes life easier on secondary. Let’s go SU

They looked confident and let's give some credit to the DL for making Francois shaky as well. It really looked like they knew where the FSU wr's were going almost the whole game and had really good angles so to make it harder for Francois to hit his wr's. Overall, a very good performance and like you said shu, such a nice improvement over the first 2 games.

It was a very good performance against FSU. But, it could be better. Francois hit several receivers on the numbers and, uncharacteristically for an FSU team, they had the dropsies.

I didn’t see this at all. They left some plays out there due to dumb penalties though

Our secondary is going to be a strength for a very long time. Just wait until Jonas is 100% and Trill/iffy get up to speed. Not to mention Nunn and our other db’s in ‘19

For the first couple quarters the dome announcer was calling him Fredericks. Mid way through the game someone must have corrected him.

U fix that for me all the time and I keep forgetting actually changed it to Fredericks from Fredrick lol

Spot on. I don't want to take anything away from the secondary because they played well, but without pressure on Francois its a different story. Maybe we still win, but its not a cake walk like it was.

Having said that, the DLine's challenge was much easier than the secondary's against FSU.

I included a link proving SU had his name wrong.

There was another player on the team for a while, Jordan Fredericks, an RB from LI, which surely contributed to the confusion. Jordan eventually transferred to UMass, where he is now a junior averaging 7.2 ypc.

Yes they did. Look at the link .. SU had his name with 2 "e's" (his name only has one "e"). Oddly, they spelled his parents' name correctly at the bottom of the page.

Agree, except in a few cases... most especially the WR option pass. Cisco stayed home, got a good angle, and played it perfectly. That wasn’t the DL.

Speaking of Cisco, doesn't he look taller than his listed 6'0"? To me he seems very rangy and taller than his measurements.
