SMU, Ga Tech and Stanford make the NIT
Wake must have declined.SMU, Ga Tech and Stanford make the NIT
That dummy Seth Davis made a comment about Michigan should be upset as a #5 seed. He should know better than most that the lazy committee was finished on Saturday night. The only change would have been if UAB beat Memphis.Michigan #5 seed... Lazy Committee work as usual on the final Sunday. They lock BIG teams in before the BIG final starts -- its hard to convince me otherwise.
I wasn't. A true blue blood that's anywhere close will 99% get inWow, UNC gets in.
Very surprised.
Also didn't want to make Duke play a road game in Newark.St John's not in Newark confirmed. Was expecting that -- couldn't see the puzzle working for them as a lower 2 seed.
I know it's the Masters theme but another tradition unlike any other is Duke getting a cake draw.wisc is a poor 3 seed. I think Duke has a good draw.
I do agree with Seth (which means fade is lol) on BYU
Gators boat race storz if they can beat Oklahoma first.UConn as an 8. Gotta figure Florida not extremely happy with that.
Vegas knows#12 seed Col State is a 2.5 point favorite over #5 seed Memphis.
It will be broken up before 2035. The mighty GOR won't be so mighty the closer we get to that year.Goodness the ACC’s crappiness is on full display.
Louisville went 18-2 in conference, made the title game and was ranked in the top 15. Getting an 8 is just an embarrassment for the league. And LVille gets stuck playing a Creighton team that is so much better than a 9 seed.
This conference is so far behind the B1G and SEC, and even the B12 too. It’s a bloated mess. The fact that we are so far down the pecking order here shows just how difficult it will be to just become relevant again.
Was wondering if Coach K designed that bracket.I know it's the Masters theme but another tradition unlike any other is Duke getting a cake draw.
Clemson beat Duke and Kentucky. Ville lost to both . That probably played with the Committee.Louisville 8 and Clemson 5 ??? Still think Louisville got screwed there
The committee chair didn’t hurt the chances.I wasn't. A true blue blood that's anywhere close will 99% get in
Should be a TV show for the teams deserving of being in the tourney at all (in terms of matchups / seeding) but they shouldn’t flat out put in undeserving teams just for ratings.Remember kids, it’s a television show. Heels bring eyeballs.
But but but they leave the room when their team is discussed and the other committee members immediately forget who the chair isUNC’s AD is the chair?? Lol such garbage. WVU should have been in.
No issues with SEC. I’ve watched them quite a bit and winning that tournament is probably harder than winning a National Championship.I know people complain about 14 SEC teams getting in. But honestly, if you watch their conference closely, they are that good. The 14th best team in that conference (Texas) is better than the other bubble teams like UNC, Boise, Xavier, Indiana, etc. Ultimately I think the committee got that right.
Why are you so hell bent on the ACC breaking up?It will be broken up before 2035. The mighty GOR won't be so mighty the closer we get to that year.

Nope. But people have spent years being adamant about how "iron clad" it is. And yet now, with the full support of membership, the GoR basically starts dissolving in 4 years.Did someone say the GOR was a lifetime contract?
