Marrone was tight all week.

Team played like utter crap, aside from some nice moments by the D.

Coaching was horrendous, to be nice about it.

I think those things were related.

good point scooch. To be fair, they didn't get the total number of fans in the stands that would have led the team to victory.

Agree, Marrone was wound tighter than a top and his players showed it. A few What mistakes were inevitable, but that colossal choke wasn't. Oh well, on to Tulane.

On the bright side, Torey Ball played a great game!

I mean IMHO a coach has to play it one of two ways. Either be an emotionless droid like Belichick, or be an arrogant blowhard like Ryan. I like both styles. You can't be a twitchy, nervous, crank all week. Players adopt the personality, and all that.

This makes sense to me.
