Can someone please tell me what a dribble drive is? I mean you cannot “drive” without “dribbling” so what am I missing?
Also, what does “scoring the basketball” really mean? You cannot “score” without the “basketball” so why isn’t it just “score”?
And for Pete's sake getting "untracked" is a coddam disaster, not something to strive for!

Did everyone fail ferroequinology?!?!?!?!?

Just stupid announcer terms.

I hate "scoring the basketball".

I really hate "three-ball". Don't know why - I just do.

I always interpret "scoring the basketball," to mean the guy may not have the purest shot or be able to regularly beat his guy off the dribble, but he just finds ways to score - often in traffic, adjusting his shot as needed, etc. Where as a scorer is a guy who just has those pure offensive skills.

My grandfather would refer to a lot of these as “diarrhea of the mouth” - mindlessly spewing out nonsense words.

Why is the university of Kansas KU? And why is university of Oklahoma OU? That’s completely wrong and yet that’s what people call them

And why do they call it cranberry sauce? I mean, once you "thwock" it out of the can it retains the shape of the can. There's nothing saucy about it.
