Senior Walk...

The rules are just so different than they were a decade or two ago.
A guy like Shrader, who was very good early season, then fell off (in part due to inury) used to never think about leaving on such a down stretch, hoping instead to come back and improve draft stock. But now they can get healthy by the combine and it often doesn't hurt them as much.

My concern here is if we have too many key juniors joining the expected and the seniors, they may opt out sooner than later and we may be very undermanned when it comes to whatever bowl we go to.

If a player does the senior walk are they pretty much guaranteed to not come back or do some often come back still?

I’d rather they be gone at that point and we can use the 15 bowl practices for players here next year then not

Tucker has been here 3 years. He's an academic junior (and eligible for the NFL draft).

Then I imagine he is for sure 1.

Jones and Tucker I imagine are 100%
Sharder and Bergeron are maybes (I saw Bergeron because we just had a draft whispers thread on him)
Wax wildcard

Most don’t come back, but some do depending on circumstances, like Szmyt.

Usually. Andre the obvious one who changed his mind last year (and glad he did for both how he's leaving and us). We had a nice chat with him last year and he was super appreciative. Plan to do the same again this year...

My guess is Marlowe Wax (should test the NFL waters).

Mikel Jones
Garrett Williams
Sean Tucker
Matthew Bergeron
All great players. Will need to have guys step into big shoes.

The guys that have played for four seasons and opting out of a 5th I don't consider Juniors but i understand the semantics. That's Mikel Jones and Bergeron. Tucker I expect to be gone. The other one that's a true third-year guy that might leave is Wax I guess.
