My concern is Shrader leaving for an SEC school. Given the way the season played out he's not going to be drafted or even an UDFA if he declares.

I'm more worried about him taking his diploma and walking, more so than leaving for another school. A bird in the hand, he's the starter here. He has control and respect of the team, with an A+ QB coach. I know that we view leaving for "greener pastures" is something that may happen, but in his situation the risk/reward is way out of whack.

i'd be shocked if he went to another college. I don't get that move at this point in his career.

I hope he makes the best decision for him. I would assume the decision is leave college or play another year. The NFL or professional football, IMO, would be a long shot if he stays or goes no matter what.

If it's a long shot, then if I were him, I'd get Mr. Weitz on the red phone and discuss NIL plans for 2023.

I think Garrett’s options are

1) Come back next season
2) Move on with his life and begin his career
3) Try out for the USFL or XFL

And yes, I do think he is good enough to possibly be on one of those leagues. I’m not sure if he would want to do that though. I guess I’m kind of hoping he would whenever he does decide to move on cause I enjoy watching him play.

4) CFL. A lot of NFL quarterbacks got their start in Canada. He co7ld also make some good coin and have a nice career. I always wondered why Dungey didn’t go this route
