Mod's fee free to move this if you want, but this is 100 percent relevant to this season. Why has the NCAA not ruled on our appeal yet? How long is it going to take? Another 8 years? I know I'm sure someone will say this isn't the NCAA's fault.

I'm happy they ruled early on Diagne. Otherwise we wouldn't have had a schollie for Chukwu.

It's crazy

I wish I was surprised. I was telling someone this weekend that the NCAA remind me a lot of Mr. McMahon from 1998 WWF. My buddy replied oh come on Vince wasn't that bad. He just wanted a corporate champion. I just nodded my head.

I grok you, Cusefan.

I have Louisville cousins who are just starting to wrap their minds around their future. I grok them, too.

Looks like a pocket veto to me...or were appealing the appeal.

I'd rather he get his wins back than him coach these 9 games. It burns me more that they took games from him like that. I love JB, granted there are things that I don't like that he does but give him his damn wins back, he earned them.

Meh, I thought that might be the case.

They still need to answer the University's Appeal though soon I'd assume.

Or waiting until 8 ACC games were over and then telling him he could coach the 9th one.

dont we really have until the first ACC game to worry about this

It's not a pocket veto. The NCAA time schedule is not the same as ours.

Are the penalties stayed pending the decision on the appeal? I know during the great summer allocation of scholarship debates some had suggested that the scholarship limit was stayed. Not sure we ever got to a consensus on what the answer to that question is. We kept getting told that there was room at the Inn for certain guys - Diagne and Bryant, but I'm not sure whether that was true, creative accounting or simply fiction.

You and Jake are more in the know than I ever will be, but I thought one of the appeals was to get the suspension moved from league to non-league games like Larry Brown. If what you are saying is truly the case, it's clear that's not happening.

LOL honestly Cusefan, when it comes to the NCAA, I don't think anyone, God included, is more in the know.

I would not be surprised if they increase the penalties after the appeal. I don't think they like us. I bet they don't do anything about UNC until after Williams retires the hypocritical #$%!%@&#$!!

Maybe they are so busy trying to figure out which UNC classes are real and which ones are fabricated to make a ruling. Or maybe they are too busy interviewing Louisville hookers to have any time for anything else. Once you interview a hooker you don't go back!

So come December 29th they will rule in favor of Boeheim and decree that the suspension should not apply just to conference games but to the next 9 games on the schedule.
