What the ? I turned it off cuz I thought the Hall was gonna run away with it. Go figure.

I thought Hall was a steal at -1 this morning. I am beginning to think it is not safe to bet on BE games this year. Luckily I think Cleveland St and Wichita St will come through for me.

Third time I've seen them. I don't think they are a particularly good team, but they've been playing people tough and Stan Heath has him some ath-a-letes.

Missed free throw by Theodore at the end did them in. Horrible way to lose

unreal. The really bad teams in past years have some impressive wins this year.

Man if we keep winning we can wrap this up by Valentine's Day.

People say the BE is weak.
True, aside from SU and maybe UConn, the traditional top teams are not as strong
as usual (G-town can never be considered a top team).
Pitt & Nova are truly down.
But the BE may have some good teams that are going to be tough come tourney time.
There's a good chance that Seton Hall and Rutgers (yes, Rutgers) are going to surprise someone in March.

Not Rutgers, they only get two March games at the RAC and they won't matter. Once they leave home they'll be toast to good opponents.

Seton Hall's a nice story this year, but they still probably won't win more than 1o or 11 games in the BE this year. Good news for them, that will definitely get them in the NCAA's this year.

The Hall has played well this year but if you want to be taken seriously you can't lose to USF.

just 1/3 of the way through the conference schedule, I am still not convinced that the Hall is an NCAAT squad. Plenty of time for them to finish 9-9, and even 10-8 might not get them in from a weakened Big East. The conference might see some blowback from its record setting # of bids last year and get the short end of the stick this time around.

Bad loss for the Hall's NCAAT hopes but I still think they're going to make it.

I think this is the craziest year the Big East has ever had, down teams are up, up teams are down, and nobody except SU looking like anything approaching a FF contender. I have to believe UConn will do well at the end of the year.

Lotta turmoil in the BE this year. Up is down and vice versa. It may not be as strong as it has been in previous years, but I will say it again and again, no doubt about it the toughest conference in college basketball...even this year. A disturbing trend these days seems to be for talking heads to rate teams and conferences by talent. "thats why you play the game"! Talent does not win necessarily. In the BE good and even great teams fall. Our version of a top heavy league (the current talking head picking point) is still way more dangerous than everone elses.

With 10 or 11 BE wins, SHU would have 21 or 22 wins on the season heading into the BET. I think that gets them in.

Additionally, they have a very high RPI, which won't drop significantly (such as sub 50) to exclude them from the NCAAt.

Only way they miss the tourney is if they finish below .500 in the BE.

I'm with Moqui on this. I'm not sure they slide all the way out of the tourney but I had to laugh when posters were saying they could finish 2nd. That's absurd. I'm rooting for them but they should be worrying about finishing top 8 in the league which would be a nice year for them. I see them as a 11-7, 10-8 type of team. The cream will rise (Marquette, Uconn especially in my opinion).
