Wow talk about 2 completely different schools in every way possible
I think we may have moved on to Frost and Abaev who are both great prospects in their own right.I wonder if we are still in the running for London Jemison. I hope so because with Sadiq White Jr. it would give us a pair of bookend forwards.
The concern would be finding playing time for both players if Chris Bell returned for his Senior year and Donnie Freeman stayed for his Sophmore year. That would be a problem that HC Autry would love to have..
OT- there is a lot of discussion about with the portal being a source of talent, the emphasis has moved away from high school recruiting and bringing in a large class. Well, Syracuse is involved with a number of high school players and has a chance to bring in a class of 3-5 players. In my view, we have PF/SF Sadiq White, Jr, (ranked #20 on 247) and will probably bring in SG Kiyan Anthony and CG Tyler Jackson (ranked respectively #32 and #47 overall). Then we have appear to be tight at one time with SF London Jemison. Finally, word has been circulating that Coach S has made some inroads with Chris Cernac (PF ranked !4 overall) while in Istanbul but that may be wishful thinking.
That would be an impressive class. Definitely a different approach or recruiting strategy than concentrating on the portal.
You are probably right although I see Ryder Frost being more of a Notre Dame savior type than going to Syracuse.I think we may have moved on to Frost and Abaev who are both great prospects in their own right.
Abaev has been my #1 wing on our board since the day we got involved. The shooting both Abaev and frost potentially bring is a huge compliment to Sadiqs game, although I’d definitely take London too. Abaev is guard that happens to be 6’7 and play the 3, he really reminds me of a lefty Malachi.I think we may have moved on to Frost and Abaev who are both great prospects in their own right.
Only one of the six without an official visit... perhaps that is why?We are in his final 6 but the energy about him in this place is dead.
What? London Jemison is highly respected and sought after by the Syracuse coaching staff. At this time, I believe that it is down close between Jemison and Ryder Frost for Small Forward to come to Syracuse. Both are great shooters and scorers. Believe Jemison has the edge defensively and in rebounding. We are in his final 6 but the energy about him in this place is dead.
Not trying to argue but Shon A is priority one followed by Frost at this positionWhat? London Jemison is highly respected and sought after by the Syracuse coaching staff. Theres no OV limits anymore so he could have revisited if he really wanted to. Plus, he will probably be expensive going against Kansas, Bama, Vandy, and LvilleGuys, maybe we’re the only finalist without a visit because he’s already taken one here?
Our decision or his?We haven’t been in this for the past couple months. Abaev or Frost are our main targets here.
Our decision or his?
I can’t answer that, but people smarter than me think Abaev and Frost are just as good of a fit for us.Our decision or his?
Crootin' is wild.
But according to board insiders, Syracuse wants Ryan Frost and/or Shon A. Someone has the wrong information.
You don’t stop recruiting #3 until #1and #2 have decided. But according to board insiders, Syracuse wants Ryan Frost and/or Shon A. Someone has the wrong information.
I hope we get One of the three and I like Jamison’s all around play.
