Just a heads up. Marcus and Maximo Adams now will not be taking an unofficial to Syracuse this weekend, per their AAU coach. But the AAU coach has detailed three 2023 prospects from California who are getting interest from Syracuse, and two or three of them plan to unofficially visit 'Cuse this weekend. I know this is bummer news about Marcus and Maximo, but I still expect Syracuse to be in Marcus' top 3 later today.

Outside of Keyon Kensie (3 star), can’t find any rankings on the other two 2023 kids…

I’m not sure why you would take a commitment from these guys when you have the portal. Unless you think the entire roster is going to portal.

JB saying oh we gotta use the portal now, we have 8 guys who’ve called us up interested in portaling to us. Then the staff is still looking at 3 star and non ranked 2023 kids lol.

You can literally get a backup from the portal, we just got Hima and in years past we grabbed Mike G and Paschal.

Kansas was paying before it was ok to pay. I’d be shocked if they weren’t paying both legally and illegally.

Well, I was referring to the 08-14 time span or whatever when we were arguably the best program for a few years

Wiith all the California interests for 2023 recruits I’m now convinced Jason Hart will be the next head coach at Syracuse. Honestly, if you paired him with an experienced bench coach like John Beilein, I would take that deal and let Marcus go to Kansas or UCLA.

Our most important recruit is the new head coach. We can overhaul the roster in one year using high school and the portal.

I’m not sure how anyone here knows what Adams offer or anyone’s offer is for the matter. And NIL is nice, but lets
not pretend the coaching situation isn’t hurting us here….
