Yes, we're now recruiting Sam Champion.New recruiting thread.
I would have guessed Stormy Meredith.Yes, we're now recruiting Sam Champion.
I'm not sure that he's still an option.I would have guessed Stormy Meredith.
Me either. We live within three hours(of all seasons too) of anything you'd want to do inside or outside. Hiking, skiing, surfing, fishing outside. Any art, sports, music you are into is here. The weather is generally always perfect. We don't have 3 or more months of depressing clouds or stifling heat, or bugs everywhere. I can't imagine living anywhere else, but different strokes. All things aside I’ve never understood the “4 seasons” thing
Hmm: Spooky Pendergast doesn’t have much of a ring to it.On a golf trip years ago one of the guys said that we had to spend the weekend using our Porn star names which I learned was the combination of the first street that you lived on and the name of your first pet. So, for the entire weekend I was known as Holly Fennell. Not good
Oh boy, Country Manor Miyagi sounds like a superstar! On a golf trip years ago one of the guys said that we had to spend the weekend using our Porn star names which I learned was the combination of the first street that you lived on and the name of your first pet. I dont think its going to be a sudden commitment as far as announcement or publicly. He’s going to want an official news conference or do it during an nba game or somewhere pretty mainstreamChances he commits next weekend?
I think what jdubs was asking was whether that visit will be the final domino before the announcement.I dont think its going to be a sudden commitment as far as announcement or publicly. He’s going to want an official news conference or do it during an nba game or somewhere pretty mainstream
How is that surprising? Those programs can’t hold a candle to Syracuse historically.Surprisingly Syracuse has more players who have played in the NBA (56) than USC (48) and Auburn (30).
Besides, USC basketball is an afterthought in LA. Stars want to play where they’re going to be the star attraction. One of my best friends who currently lives in LA and grew up in Miami ended up picking Syracuse over USC. Just my 2 cents, but college kids are more focused on selecting schools based on campus life where we as adults are looking at the entire picture of a place. 18 year olds aren’t picking a place to live permanently.
Right. I’ve done my time on the east coast. Grew up in Delaware, HS in Ohio on the ‘snow belt,’ four years of oppressive, malevolent, barbaric Syracuse weather, and 25 in Manhattan. Sure, every year, there are a dozen days of ‘transition’ weather, where it’s just magical, and things smell and look a certain way, and those are memorable. All things aside I’ve never understood the “4 seasons” thing
Sorry, how many players have we had drafted since 2018?How is that surprising? Those programs can’t hold a candle to Syracuse historically.
And yet during that Golden Era of USC basketball they still have two losing seasons and less tournament wins than us during that time. Truly a powerhouse you’re talking about there.Sorry, how many players have we had drafted since 2018?
ONE.
USC?
Eight.
UNC? Seven. Duke? 20.
