It's the dirty south... first time I ever saw state troopers escorting coaches to the post-game handshake was during SEC games. I'm sure Bama would happily pony up for a secret service detail that comes from the state's tax dollars. Although Gov. Tuberville might then revoke it next year.

Maybe? I think the AD is next to go as he does not seem to have a good track record in doing any background checks on his selections (i.e. Juwan Howard and Harbaugh). The only requirement seems to be - are you an alum. Harbaugh got you a NC but with many scandals and suspensions. Without Harbough there would be know Moore.

The new AD will make the selection after vetting potential hires so I doubt Gruden would be in play.
