That’s lofty. But it is very well done so far. I’m skeptical about the fight scenes being great, but fingers crossed.

Definitely not for people who don’t like reading, though. They speak Japanese with subtitles.

There is an English overdub if you like that sort of thing.

I read the book when I was young and have been fascinated with Japanese culture ever since.

I've read everything from James Clavell since then. Spectacular author of historical fiction.

I did watch it in the 80s although barely remember it.
The new series is great!

I actually thought the 80s version was really bad. I'm hopeful the new one is significantly better.

I'll probably get Hulu just to watch it.
