Yep, VT were leading with their helmets and twisting legs in the pile all day. Given the constant nature of it, that was an intentional tactic, not a random ‘football play” here and there. The one that bothered me was the helmet to the right hip of Sean Tucker. I've had a hip pointer before. They hurt like a SOB the next day.

Shrader was an inch from being knocked out for the season on a play where he gave himself up, either the concussion or if he didn’t slide his knee would have been gone.
Have we seen Red, Barclay, Bradford or Froumy at all? If we can get Bleich back and plug in someone at right tackle that would be ideal. Doesn’t seem like anyone on the 2 deep is ready for that based on what happened after Vett went down.Ditto I'm not sure that Tisdale has played since Florida State, Vett looked like a long-term injury yesterday, we're running out of warm bodies.

Great point -- and on paper, Bradford would be more capable of handling the rigor, due to physical maturity.Bradford is next man up based on depth chart.
Would love to see Cruz, but think he's a little too light on weight and technique right now.
Getting crazy again this year. Tisdale, Vet, Bleich; that's 3 out of the 5 original OLs that started the season. Kinda thought it was overkill to have 16 scholarship OLs, but nice to have that buffer now.Great point -- and on paper, Bradford would be more capable of handling over here, due to physical maturity.
Forgot about him. Hopefully, he understands the blocking assignments well enough at this point. Have to imagine he's going to get pushed hard this week, with the coaches knowing he's one play away, and at minimum needs to provide some platoon depth.
Or worse I’ve seen the dreaded avulsion fracture occur on a hit there to the “hip pointer area” aka the iliac crest. Dude finished the game high on adrenaline, next day diagnosed with a hip pointer by the trainer, next day the avulsion fracture by the orthopedic surgeon, done for the season. That’s my fear right now too.The one that bothered me was the helmet to the right hip of Sean Tucker. I've had a hip pointer before. They hurt like a SOB the next day.
My gut says Bleich is done for the year, possibly longer.Agree 100% -- RT appears to be the missing piece.
With Vett / Tisdale / Bleich injured, and Ialaoa shifting in to C and Ellis to LG, there isn't anymore depth.
Need Bleich back. Would kill to see Red, Barclay or Cruz be able to contribute. We need it.
What is Bleich’s injury? My gut says Bleich is done for the year, possibly longer.
Can he ever stay healthy? What is Bleich’s injury?
It’s an owie, probably lower body. What is Bleich’s injury?
Pretty sure this is public already but he’s got significant hip issues that will take a while to heal up.What is Bleich’s injury?

I was getting annoyed watching the leg twisting as well. Also after they made a tackle they would hold our guy on the ground or push/hold our players helmet to the ground to frustrate and try and create a retaliation.Yep, VT were leading with their helmets and twisting legs in the pile all day. That's out of the old Georgia Tech playbook.I was getting annoyed watching the leg twisting as well. Also after they made a tackle they would hold our guy on the ground or push/hold our players helmet to the ground to frustrate and try and create a retaliation.
I know, so unlike them
Probably Bradford at RT or Ulloa at C.We're down to the last four games of the season. Interesting thought: OT Enrique Cruz is the highest rated OL recruit we've landed in some time. He showed up bigger than expected at 290+, and he's now been here for an entire camp / two-thirds of a season. Could he provide some depth, or possibly play RT [enabling Servais to shift back to Center]?
If you want a position to have too many bodies at, it’s OL. Over the course of a season those guys by far take the most wear and tear. People see the backer activity at higher speeds and that’s what always comes to mind in regards to injuries but the line are colliding with someone every single play.Getting crazy again this year.
