Simple question how in year 5 is depth a major issue?

LB is tough. Wallace and Trotter apparently felt they were not fits for the new scheme. And Dino LOVED Fagan, but the kid was apparently on the Marek diet and couldn’t gain an ounce.

The recruiting classes haven't had balance. There is a reason why we haven't had much depth and have lacked SRs on the OL, WR, and at LB the last two seasons.

There's some truth to this. Etienne is loving his college football experience, came back for more. Cisco, probably not so much, so now that his minimum 3 years are up...

It's not a knock on Cisco, if you can do it, then by all means go for it. Just noting the difference between programs.

How often have we had a guy go pro after 3 years here?
Eh.

I still maintain Etienne is a moron for not being in the NFL right now.

I'm all for dudes blazing their own trail, but his is a pretty dumb one.

But the lack of balance hasn't been intentional. We just haven't landed the guys we wanted at those positions and were stuck getting guys that really shouldn't be on the field. The oline has been made even worse by a few guys having their careers cut short.

Investment in the program is coming - big time. Tough to get luxury car buyers when you have a lot full of Kias to offer.

But the warranty on those things. It sells itself.

Nothing wrong with a Kia Sorrento - but when kids come to the building with 80G tastes...
