Sit Down with Coach Brown | Miami

Well I had decided I wasn't going to watch the Miami game but now what the heck I think I will. Maybe we'll see an offense finally tailored to the quarterback and not vice versa

At the 1:15 minute mark, a missed opportunity to ask Fran to expound and provide more detail on this. I couldn't watch too much more. I have to admit, I'm still really disappointed on how the QB position was managed last week.

I fear tomorrow will be yet another blow to the program and what Fran is trying to build. I mean, this year is just about textbook on the worst case scenario following a 10 win season. I hate to say it but some similar feelings after Dino's 10 win season. That said, I'm much more confident in Fran but still very concerned.

I feel, realistically, how much could have been accomplished in a week? Hope I’m wrong.
Yeah, I agree especially after the NC game. I mean, THAT'S what they came up with against a crappy ass NC team?? That said, as strange as it sounds, I think we have a chance with Collins versus what we saw last week. Collins, as poor as he's played, does have some good to his game that if he played out of his tits, who knows. I give it a 5% chance but if going back to our Lacrosse player at QB, I'd give that a .001% chance.

This is worse than 2019. That team at least went 5-7. This is a 3-9 team working it's way to 7 consecutive blowouts and will probably lose a close one to BC in the finale to finish dead last in the ACC.

Better late than never. I found it refreshing for Fran to finally come out and publicly acknowledge that none of the current quarterbacks are able to run the pro style Nixon offense geared for McCord and Angeli. Not sure why it took so long to for coaching staff to recognize this. We all saw it immediately. Anyways with a more balanced run game hitting the perimeter, jet sweeps, RB and WR screens, shorter easier throws, and some occasional trickery and deception, perhaps...we can score a TD or two in the first half lol

CUSE probably has one of the best player rosters.
OK...maybe a very good talented roster.
My concern is what is left of the coaching roster come December/January.
Nixon is thought to be a good OC//NFL/college HC material.
His son will be gone...gotta believe so will he.
Our DC hasn't really delivered. Help will be needed.
Does CUSE have the buck$/stature to bring in high level coaching talent?

Another soft ball interview from Matt Park.

Look everybody needs to fix things if not going well and he is doing that. At least he points to himself first. As I have said before if we had Steve we would be looking at 9-3 at least cause he gave the defense breaks and less pressure. We are the only team to dominate Clemson. Every one else is barely beating them. We truly had a shot. Now we work on getting new oline coach, new dline guys, and a backup that can move the ball somewhat. Also get fresh sometime to play up to their peers.

Let’s just say ERob is criminally overpaid given his inexperience and incompetence.

I know people keep talking about money and coaches. I don’t see that. I believe rumor was we paid Robinson 1.2 per year. I know that was a mistake but Fran has gotten more consultants and assistant coaches than any other coach I can remember. I also remember hearing that we brought in the Oline coach from central conn as an assistant coach. I could be wrong. With Williams the word was he was a good pass blocking but not run blocking coach. Remember when Braum went to Louisville he got a different Oline coach and made Williams a consultant.
