If the NCAA adopted the NBA 24 second shot clock, which type of teams would benefit? Which teams THIS season would benefit the most?
I feel Wisconsin would suffer greatlyND wouldn't win a game
Missouri - They have good guards plus if they put on the full court press by the time the other team gets it over they may only have 17 seconds or so to get a shot up.
I am under the category of the 24 second shot being awful for the college game. It'll lead to more one on one break down plays and less systems and fundamentals. It may benefit SU because of how their offense is run but I for one don't mind how Notre Dame, Georgetown, and Michigan play (systems not players).
The defense can speed them up. SU let them play slow ball by not pressing more or pushing their traps out higher. I still think SU wins against them 9 times out of 10 but I don't have a problem with how they won that game minus some of the non-fouls on the ogre.Seeing teams hold the ball on the perimeter to waste clock does nothign for me.
