As much as I used to dislike Doug before noticing his sneakers after the end of the Final *** last season and then having my "American History X" moment of clarity thinking about how I badmouthed him who had done nothing to me vs how the board had treated me around that time, and I'm beginning to wonder if beyond my orange-tinted glasses Doug is an ok entertainer who actually knows a few things?

No, it's likely the same scene, we are likely just assigning different people to it. I was referring to being betrayed by who you thought were "your people", and finding you can relate more to who they say your enemy is supposed to be, like he did afterward with the joking guy while folding laundry. I'll probably feel less bitter after a good night's sleep, and I hope that for everyone.
