So is it Memphis or Pastnor?

I'm trying to figure out if Memphis players and teams just aren't nearly as good as they recruiting rankings would suggest or if Pastnor is just not a good coach other than recruiting.

I can't remember them winning a bug game under Pastnor but it seems they are always pulling in top 15 classes with him.

I think Pastner is 0-13 vs. top 25 teams at Memphis. I still think it's him; he's no different than Gottfried. Tremendous recruiters, can't do when it comes to actually coaching. Memphis always recruits the same type of players though; extremely gifted athletes that aren't as polished when it comes to an actual skill set.

This is what I am leaning toward as well. They always have 1-2 guys that stick out as pretty good players under Pastnor but the team doesn't. Dead on with Gottfried.
