This is why I'm glad we are leaving the BE. These teams don't belong here. As far as I'm concerned we won the BET over UCON(vict) last night

And the best part is good seats will be available for tomorrow nights game. Hope MSG is empty. Its all about $$$. Lets see how much they make with out our fans (and our $$$$) there.

I'm going to miss Big East basketball myself.

But I'm going to love ACC football.

Cheers,
Neil

Actually Cincy and Louisville are BE Basketball now...I have no issues with them. They've done more in the league than than Rutgers, Seton Hall, Providence, DePaul, etc...

Just think .. in a few years it could be Houston vs UCF.

This is Metro Conference all the way. Can't wait until we leave the NNBE behind.

ESPN can not be pleased. At least L'ville is somewhat of a national draw.

Looking forward to seeing what a future BET championship game looks like that doesnt include Syracuse/Pitt/WVU/UConn/ND.

Oh...I guess Ill get a sneak peak tomorrow night. Nah...prob lwont even watch it since I was never interested in CUSA to begin with.

I wonder how many times Cincinnati and Louisville faced each other in Conference Tourneys. From the Great Midwest to the Metro to C-USA they have been rivals and both good for a loooooong time.

The Big East as we knew it is truly truly dead.

Georgetown vs St Johns isnt a possibility? I wasnt happy where the Big East was going, but I'm not going to trash the conference I grew up on.

I don't get the sour grapes about the conference that made Syracuse basketball! Let's remember that the Big East built a lot of programs and it will in the future! I feel the people who bash the Big East aren't true Syracuse fans! Syracuse will be part of the Big East forever! Just because we move to another conference doesn't mean I'll stop caring for the thing that put us on the map!

BTW, temple, Memphis, Nova, Gtown, Cinci, Lville, ND, UConn, Marquette are all solid programs that will do just fine and continue to sell out the Garden!

I don't get this mentality. Why mock the team that just beat us? Why make a statement that these teams "don't belong here" when we're going to get that crap down on Tobacco Road? Talk about out of place. All this talk that some "can't wait" to be in the ACC and so on. I'm going to miss this league and the BET, especially. If some of you don't, what exactly have you been watching and who have you been hating all these years?

The Big East is finished.

It's only a matter of time before it falls apart. It will be, by far, the ugliest collection of misfits ever assembled, & when Louisville bolts and a few of the other good programs, it will be just a collection of mediocre to terrible programs.

Georgetown will essentially be the best basketball team, & the whole conference will be too spread out, putting the school's under tremendous financial & logistical pressure on a weekly basis.

I give it 5 years MAX, & they will bleed too much money to stay in business. Then they will sell off the parts to break even...

Right now on stubhub the cheapest ticket is $28. 100 level tickets are under $100. Even risers right behind the baskets are under $100.

The Big East is going to get a glimpse of its ugly future tonight.

Great and true observation. There's absolutely no reason to hold the C-USA Championship in NYC. No local teams.

Tourney should be shifted to the geographic center of the conference which is probably close to St. Louis.

I'll do it for you. The Big East sucks, I can't wait til we get out of this shitshow.

ACC! ACC! ACC!

Wow. I bet Syracuse vs. UConn on Thursday at NOON had triple those prices.

I'm sure the Big East loves that the 1 vs. 9 game on Thursday afternoon was their biggest draw all tournament.

Cheapest tickets as of about a week before the game were about 120-130 - for thursday at noon. Last year for the semi finals with UConn and Cuse the cheapest tickets available were $225. They seem to go down for the final with only two teams playing, but still, these are insanely cheap.
