"There's one proposal in particular that I've heard about," Goodell went on. "It's automatic that you get seven points when you score a touchdown, but you could potentially go for an eighth point, either by running or passing the ball, so if you fail, you go back to six."
Hey why stop there Roger?
While you're at it why don't you tweak scoring in other ways?
Install a graduated point system for the length of touchdowns and the same for field goals.
Have everything based off the decimal system
Any TD over 70 yards gets bonus points
For example A 110 yard kickoff return would be worth 11 points
A 109 yard KO Ret 10.9 etc
The same point value for running & passing plays
60 yard field goal 6 points
59 yard FG 5.9 etc
Mr. Goodell glad to have been of serviceOh Lord
Sir did you have Froot Loops for breakfast Tuesday?
