While I was in timeout I saw an ESF sticker (ironically on a SUV with one person in it) on the 5 and was wondering who else here was smart enough to go to the University with the longest name and largest campus by land holding?
For the record, when people ask where I went to school I say ESF, then when they invariably ask "what's that", I respond with the full State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse University.
I love the largest campus in the world trivia answer too. Even though wiki says some jerkwater college in Ga, if you add the acreage of Cranberry Lake Biological Station, The Ranger School in Wanakena, Newcomb properties, the Thousand Islands Biological Station, LaFayette Rd. Forest, Ellis, Heidberg Forest in Tully, Warrensberg, and the land in Costa Rica it is way more than the 27.000 ha that Berry College claims is the largest campus.
So if you have gotten drunk on the NYS tab at TGIF, heard of this kid named Eustace B. Nifkin, or have told folks not to walk across the quad, please add your handle to this thread.
