Ugh, I was really hoping to make this post after a win but alas, 4-5.
Anyway, I was lazy and didn't leave until 11am. I did work till 0200 though. Parked where I always did taking classes here for free and strolled across the edge of the Disc Golf course over MLK and right in.
Walked around the periphery and chatted with a few Orange fans I saw (<200) and realized something. The human brain is remarkable in that in the last 3 years I have seen this guys face for about 5 hours but I instantly recognized the guy who Sat with me for hoops in Wes Johnson's year and who I also saw in 2010. Kept going around until I saw the Corduroys and bowtie I was looking for, that being Rags.
So heading back to 126 there was a hot dog for $3.75 and plastic bottle fizzy yellow beer of which I only drank because it was free, thanks again Rags.
As to the game, Rags seemed to have empathy for Tomcat at the BET. First to have ANOTHER game start with a turnover, all on Kobena. :bang: Then I was pretty hot about the first fumble review. I haven't seen any replay but live I saw the ball out and was hopping. It didn't look very close at all from 126. :bang: I haven't read anything concerning replays but given our BigEast exit, well we really are not getting any of them. I haven't seen the replays themselves but crappy coverage with crappy angles make carppy reviews. 20 came free twice and both times Gully was slow to see him come off the slot both times were excruciating for me seeing it coming pre-snap but that second one was devastating. Dammit West has to make that catch too when we still has a chance, but really when I felt we were not going to win was when 4 dropped that gift pick 6. Then 4th and 3 down 11. Getting a field goal blocked again. At least the coverage on kicks and punt has been good and they did get that one punt fumble back. I think there is a corner and it is in sight. Don't sell us short. We absolutely can beat UofL. I am certainly discouraged, but we had all those things happen (now even saying the TD to touchback that could have happened) and still. Frick on a stick anys 2 out of r the next 3 will be a tall order. LGO Shivering and need a hot shower...
Dang, these beating will payoff right? They are definately the most physical team. That PF "Charging" call " What is that"?????
