If Fran doesn't loose the locker room and the team gives him a decent effort on the field, this will be a true testament to how good his ability is to relate to his players. His game time coaching decisions are another issue, but he's new to the role and probably needs time. More time will come for him, but it all ultimately comes down to winning. Next year should be a litmus test for him.

Yeah though we probably still should get one or even two more guys. I’m skeptical if Angeli can be the same quarterback post injury.

The average recovery time for a return to competition for Angel's injury is about 11 months. If he's only getting back to practice in August next year, we can't count on him to be the starter.

But it will be tough to get a starter to transfer in with Angeli hanging over their head...

If we go into the season with Collins, Carney and Angeli, with a bunch of freshman as the backups, we could be in a ton of trouble to start the season.

The single injury could screw up two full seasons.

With how we're playing, I'd worry more about the locker room being too tight than loose.
