It’s like all the times people have said we become Old Big East Seton Hall or Providence kinda knew what they were talking about.
The most frustrating thing is there’s no hope. As long JB is HC there is little reason to think this will get better. It’s 2 entire classes of students at Syracuse. TWO.

Next year’s recruiting class being the best ever. I mean he says this stuff to kick the can down the line.

No serious fan of Syracuse basketball, with even an ounce of objectivity, can look at these and say that things are OK, that we should not expect better.

Yes we have a winning record against Pitt, but the 9 losses against them is awful considering they’ve basically been BC level bad for most of their time in the ACC.

If we could just avoid Duke, NC and Virginia we would be all set. The sad thing is that Virginia hasn’t been a recruiting machine and they still kick our butts. These three teams absolutely destroy the zone.

There's just nothing that can be done about that. Nothing.
Honestly the fact we lost to them and they are that bad is worse than the Colgate loss.
Colgate is probably favored over Georgetown.

According to KP Colgate would be about a 4 point favorite on a neutral court. Georgetown is the lowest rated P6 team outside of Georgia.

Don’t worry though we have the greatest Recruiting class in the history of Syracuse basketball coming in next year.

This team and the mediocrity is exhausting and I don’t see it getting any better. With all the new recruits and transfer portal players how do we expect the zone to be any good or find any offensive flow. Should be an exciting few years!

That's why everyone needs to hammer home the point this garbage is unacceptable. Put a team together next year that can go around 23-8 or better while being in the top 25 all year and that is the only way anyone should shut up. There's no more excuses that should be accepted.

So we have a winning record (.500 against FSU) against every since ACC school except the top 3 since we joined? That’s honestly not too bad.
I am totally unhappy with how things are but the above doesn’t bother me as much I don’t think

There is no probably. Worst L this year was Georgetown, easily. That second half was a travesty.
